Tooth be told,
we love our patients
It is important to visit the dentist every 6-12 months, even if you have no problems.
New patients are always welcome at Happy Smiles, if you have any questions, give one of our friendly reception staff a call to chat about your concerns.
It is important for your first visit to Happy Smiles that you bring all of your medical history information, including a comprehensive list of medications that you are taking. To save time, download and fill out your medical history via this form and send it through prior to your appointment to firstname.lastname@example.org
You may not think these are relevant to your teeth, but it is very important to make sure than any procedures we do are completely safe and will not interfere with any of your medical conditions or medications.

An environment exists which allows the establishment of a strong relationship between you and our team which we would like to continue into the future.
Our practice is team orientated with dentists, therapists, hygienists, and assistants all working together towards the common goal of providing the best care for the whole family.
Meet the Happy Smiles team
Dr Chloe Gowland
Chloe, originally from Bathurst, completed her degree at Charles Sturt University Orange before relocating to Tamworth in late 2016. Chloe is passionate about good quality general dentistry, with a focus on preventative care and emergency pain relief. Chloe developed an interest in dentistry after suffering a dental trauma as a teenager, so when she says “I know your pain” she really does!
Chloe and her husband Bree took over ownership of the practice in early 2019 and are so happy to have made Tamworth home.
Outside of dentistry she will attempt any new sport and enjoys spending weekends with her husband and two dogs.
Oral Health Therapist
Hayley grew up on the South Coast of NSW, after working as a dental assistant for over ten years and raising five kids (two sets of twins) she decided to venture to the other side of the chair. She completed a Bachelor of Oral Therapy/Hygiene from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, she also completed a diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice at Melbourne University.
She loves educating and working with anxious patients and seeing them leave with a new attitude towards their dental hygiene. Outside of work she loves spending time with family and friends and volunteering to help others.
Louise graduated from Westmead as a Dental Therapist in 1995 which allows her to perform dentistry on children under the age of 18. Her goal is to ensure little patients are happy to have dental treatment without fear and learn to keep their teeth healthy. Dental Therapy has taken her to coastal towns, country towns, and even Africa.
A country girl at heart, after growing up in Narrabri and Queensland she moved to Tamworth in 1999. She has now been an integral member of the team at Happy Smiles for over 10 years and enjoys coming to work to see all of her lovely patients.
She have been lucky to have three children who enjoy adventures, sport, community projects, and living in Tamworth.
Dr Claire Champine
Claire is originally from the US near the city of Boston, Massachusetts. She relocated with family to Australia where she began her dental profession at the University of Sydney. She has been in Sydney since 2009 and recently decided that there is more to life than sitting in traffic. Claire married a country boy in 2016 (yee-haw!) who convinced her that regional Australia has so much to offer with their friendly communities, beautiful landscapes, and unique lifestyle.
Claire values taking the time to make sure her patients understand their dental needs and treatment. She loves to be the resident nerd with all details and specifics given her background in organic chemistry.
On the weekends you can find Claire eating fine culinary delights cooked by her husband, enjoying a glass of wine, and endlessly playing fetch with her 2 dogs Pablo and Gringo.
Dr Yasmin Samiee
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Yasmin enjoyed a few years in Sydney before relocating to Tamworth to join the Happy Smiles family. She has fallen in love with beautiful Australia and everything Tamworth has to offer.
Yasmin is known for her warm demeanour and patience, and is interested in working with families and children. She welcomes anyone experiencing dental anxiety with empathy and compassion.
While studying, Yasmin dedicated herself to improving the student experience through the Sydney University Dental Association, serving as an elected representative for four consecutive years. She was honoured to accept the Pierre Fauchard Academy Foundation Scholarship during her studies.
Outside dentistry, Yasmin loves singing, piano, and guitar and spending time with her partner and their cockatiel. She enjoys giving back to the community, having provided volunteer dental services through many charity organisations, she looks forward to continuing this within the Tamworth community
Yasmin looks forward to meeting you at your next visit.
